Jack Draper, from Britain, says he has another level to reach at the US Open after defeating Alex de Minaur to make his first Grand Slam semifinal.
Jack Draper is yet to drop a set at the US Open, having beaten Australian 10th seed Alex de Minaur 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. He will face world number one Jannik Sinner on Friday for a spot in his first Grand Slam final.
Draper, the 25th seed, said, "This is not an overnight thing for me. My level today was solid, with some glimpses of brilliance. I still have more to give if pushed."
He’s the first Brit to reach the men’s singles semifinals at Flushing Meadows since Andy Murray in 2012, when Murray went on to win the title.
Draper, highly rated since his junior days, faced injury challenges in 2023 as he adjusted to tour life.
