Doohan Secures Full-Time Alpine Seat for 2025.

Australian Jack Doohan will make his Formula 1 debut with Alpine in 2025, stepping up from his position as a reserve driver.

Jack Doohan, the 21-year-old son of five-time MotoGP champ Mick Doohan, will join Alpine for the 2025 Formula 1 season. He will team up with Pierre Gasly, who has been with Alpine since 2023.

Doohan takes over from Esteban Ocon, who has moved to Haas following the end of his stint with Alpine.

Alpine's new team principal, Oliver Oakes, expressed his excitement, saying, "Jack will be the first driver to move from the Alpine academy to a race seat with the team. This is a significant milestone for us and a proud moment for our young driver program."
