Dolphins' Star Hill Detained by Police Ahead of Game.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was briefly detained by police but later released before his team's season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After the incident, Tyreek Hill made it to Hard Rock Stadium and scored a touchdown in the Dolphins' 20-17 win.

The Dolphins released a statement explaining that Hill had been briefly detained by police for a traffic issue near the stadium. Several teammates stopped to support him, and he arrived safely for the game.

A video on ESPN showed Hill handcuffed on the ground, and after the match, he stated he didn’t know why the officers had taken that action.
