In 2019, TJ Doheny held the IBF super-bantamweight title before falling to WBA champion Daniel Roman in a unification bout.
Now, the 37-year-old is set to prove he's still a top contender as he faces the unbeaten Naoya Inoue for the undisputed super-bantamweight world title.
Both fighters made weight on Monday, with Doheny at 121.5lbs and Inoue right at the limit of 122lbs.
The bout will take place at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, where Doheny aims to showcase his ability to compete at the highest level once again.
