Suzuki boss Shinichi Sahara says: "We won the riders title last year and also the teams title.
“In comparison, it has been a very, very difficult season for us this year.
“Before starting this season we decided not to be the defending champions, we decided to challenge again to finish top of each race.
“But as a result, we had some tough moments in the middle of the season and in the first half of the season.
"So, luckily we still had two strong riders. Joan is still very consistent and has momentum.
“We need to do something small to get more speed and results.
"As everyone knows, Suzuki sometimes struggles for qualifying results. It pays the price for our race results, so it's very difficult."
