Stephen Curry has put an end to future rumors by signing a one-year extension with the Golden State Warriors, keeping him with the team until 2027.
The deal, worth around $62.6 million (£47.5 million), ensures that the four-time NBA champion will earn $178 million (£135 million) over the next three years.
Curry, a two-time NBA MVP, will become the fourth player to surpass $500 million in career earnings, joining LeBron James, Paul George, and Kevin Durant.
By the end of this contract, Curry's total on-court earnings will be approximately $532 million (£403 million), making it the second highest in NBA history, just behind LeBron James’ $580 million.
