Croke Park Seagull Recovering After Pitch Incident.

A seagull that caused a stir during Sunday's All Ireland Gaelic Football final by invading the pitch is expected to be released back into the wild in a few days, according to a wildlife charity.

During Armagh's dramatic victory over Galway at Croke Park, a seagull made an unexpected appearance, landing on the pitch and sticking around for about 25 minutes while the action unfolded.

As the game continued around it, the bird became an unwelcome but memorable spectator.

Eventually, a match official escorted the seagull off the pitch, and it was taken to the Kildare Wildlife Rescue center.

Dan Donoher, the center's manager, revealed that they began receiving calls about the seagull during the match.
