Considine and Murphy Crowe Make Ireland Comeback.

Eimear Considine and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe are making their return to the Ireland team for the first time since 2022. They’ll join the squad for Saturday’s match against Australia at Kingspan Stadium, kicking off at 14:30 BST.

Munster full-back Eimear Considine, who hasn’t played for Ireland since April 2022, returns after a strong showing in the Women's Interprovincial Championship, having recovered from an ACL injury.

Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe is one of five players from the Ireland Sevens squad that competed at the Paris Olympics this summer. Also included in the squad are Stacey Flood, Eve Higgins, Emily Lane, and uncapped Erin King, who is among four potential debutants for the game.

The match will help Ireland prepare for their upcoming WXV 1 campaign. Vicky Elmes Kinlan is set to play on the right wing, Ruth Campbell steps in for the injured co-captain Sam Monaghan in the second row, and prop Siobhan McCarthy is on the bench.
