Commonwealth Games 2022: Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra to hold the India's national flag in the opening ceremony.

Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will be the India's national flag bearer to represent India during the opening ceremony of the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has announced 322-member strong participants to the July 28 to August 8 Birmingham Games, out of which 215 will be athletes. Among them 107 female athletes will participate in the upcoming games.

The opening ceremony of the games will held on July 28 in Birmingham.

The qualification round of the men's javelin throw competition will be held on August 5 while the final will be on August 7.
