Chris Davidson has died after being hit outside a pub north of Sydney.

Legendary former Australian pro-surfer Chris Davidson has died at the age of 45 after he was being allegedly punched by another man, causing him to hit his head on the pavement in a country bar in New South Wales, Australia.

According to police report, he was treated by paramedics before being rushed to Kempsey Hospital where he died of his internal injuries in his head.

Earlier in 1990's, Surfing magazine Tracks considered Chris Davidson as one of the most gifted surfers in the world, at the peak of his career.

In 2010, he was ranked number 14 globally in the sport.

Chris Davidson will be remembered as a kind-hearted, charismatic and beautiful person.
