Chen Zifan has been suspended from the World Snooker Tour.

The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) have officially announced that Chen Zifan has been suspended from the World Snooker Tour. He is being restricted from attending or competing on the World Snooker Tour with immediate effect.

World No. 93 Chen Zifan has become the eighth snooker player to be suspended by the sport's governing body following ongoing investigation into match-fixing.

Chen joins Yan Bingtao, Liang Wenbo, Lu Ning, Li Hang, Chang Bingyu, Bai Langning and Zhao Jianbo who are being barred from competition, with each player facing a long ban from the sport.
