Saoirse Noonan’s hat-trick led Celtic to a dramatic comeback victory over KuPS of Finland after extra time, securing their spot in the mini-tournament final of the Women’s Champions League qualifying.
Roosa Ariyo put the Kansallinen Liiga champions ahead after 18 minutes, but Celtic’s substitute forward Noonan scored the equalizer and added two more goals in extra time.
Celtic will meet either hosts Gintra or Anenii Noi of Moldova in Saturday's final, following their match later on Wednesday at Siauliai Central Stadium.
As first-time Scottish champions and the lowest-ranked team among the four, Celtic were 20 places below Gintra, 10 spots behind KuPS, and two ranks below Anenii Noi.
