Casper Ruud stormed into the US Open finals edging out Karen Khachanov.

Norway's Casper Ruud produced a stunning performance to seal his spot in the finals of US Open 2022 after edging out Russia's Karen Khachanov at the semi-final clash at the Flushing Meadows in New York.

The fifth seed, Casper Ruud knocked out Karen Khachanov by 7-6(5), 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 and advanced into his second Grand Slam final this year. He is looking forward to become the first Norwegian man in history to win one of the four Grand Slams.

At the US Open final clash on Sunday, Casper Ruud is going to face No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain or No. 26 Frances Tiafoe of the United States.
