Caroline Garcia and Ons Jabeur secured spots in the semi-finals of US Open 2022.

Tunisia's Ons Jabeur and France's Caroline Garcia advanced into the semi-finals of US Open 2022 after defeating their opponents in their respective quarter-finals clash.

Coco Gauff's dream of a grand slam breakthrough on home soil came to an end after being defeated by in-form Caroline Garcia in the quarter-finals clash.

Caroline Garcia clinched a clinical victory over Coco Gauff by 6-3, 6-4 and progressed into her maiden major semi-final clash.

On the other end, Tunisia's Ons Jabeur comfortably sealed her spot in the semi-finals after defeating Ajla Tomljanovic, who beat Serena Williams in the third round.

Ons Jabeur became the first African woman in history to reach the semi-finals of the US Open after smashing out Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic by 6-4, 7-6 (7/4) in the quarter-finals clash in New York.
