Candidates Tournament 2022: Teimour Radjabov claims his first win since 2019.

Teimour Radjabov (AZE) claims his first dramatic and classical win since winning the FIDE World Cup in 2019.

Radjabov seemed well prepared and determined to score a win. It was his first win after almost 2 years and 8 months.

Throughout the game session Radjabov shows some rare moves on the board which confused Hikaru Nakamura. Nakamura was in a jumbled situation to choose his moves which results in wrong moves.

Hikaru Nakamura tried too hard to create an imbalance which allowed his opponent to gain the upper hand.

Finally, Radjabov scored his first win of the event and also the first Classical win since October 2019.
