Cameron Norrie joins Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev for Saudi Arabia event.

Finally after lots of warnings and verbal blasts, Cameron Norrie agreed to participate in the Saudi Arabia event along with Russians Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, German's Alex Zverev, Austrian's Dominic Thiem and Swiss star Stan Wawrinka in the Middle East event which will commence from December 8 to 10.

The total prize money for the event is around £2.6million though it is not an official ATP tournament.

Saudi Arabia's record on human rights is under huge scrutiny. The Arab country has been criticized for using high-profile events to sportwash its reputation.

Norrie is not the only British tennis player to have been invited to take part in this event. Former world number one Andy Murray turned down the opportunity to participate three years ago.
