Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been released from hospital after nine days of treatment as he has suffered cardiac arrest.
Hamlin sustained the cardiac arrest during an NFL game the Cincinnati Bengals on January 2. He collapsed making a tackle.
The incident stunned the players from both teams. The players cried, prayed and hugged. The game was postponed and later canceled.
Hamlin was transferred to a Buffalo hospital on Monday after a week at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He went through a comprehensive medical evaluation and series of cardiac, neurological and vascular testings.
