Briton Hewett Advances to Wimbledon Final.

Briton Alfie Hewett electrified the Wimbledon courts, edging out Argentine Gustavo Fernandez in a heart-stopping showdown to secure his spot in Sunday's highly anticipated singles final.

Facing adversity, second-seed Briton Alfie Hewett staged a remarkable comeback after dropping the first set and trailing by a break, ultimately triumphing over world number three Gustavo Fernandez 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 in a thrilling semifinal clash on court three.

Despite a shaky start that saw him fall behind 4-1 in the opening set, Hewett, 26, rallied to level at 4-4 before conceding the set.

The Argentine's relentless pressure continued as Hewett struggled early in the second set, but a determined effort from 3-1 down saw him clinch five of the next six games to square the match.

The deciding set unfolded with both players exchanging blows, but it was Hewett who broke Fernandez at 4-4, only to face a tense battle to serve out the match.

Fueled by the fervent cheers of the home crowd, Hewett secured a crucial break to lead 6-5 and clinched victory after a grueling final game, sealing the win on his sixth match point after two hours and 41 minutes of intense play.

The victory not only propels Hewett into his third consecutive Wimbledon final but also serves as redemption for his recent loss to Fernandez in the French Open semifinals, where the Argentine emerged victorious six weeks ago.
