British Brilliance: Gold Glory at 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Mixed Team Triumph.

In a remarkable start to the World Aquatics Championships, Great Britain emerged triumphant, clinching the first gold medal in the mixed team event.

The team's outstanding performance set the stage for what promises to be an exciting and competitive championship.

Tom Daley, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, Daniel Goodfellow, and Scarlett Mew Jensen teamed up for six dives in Doha, scoring an impressive 421.65 points. This fantastic performance secured the gold medal for Great Britain.

Mexico secured the silver medal, while Australia's team claimed the bronze.

Tom Daley, back in international competition after over two years, expressed his amazement at the strength of British diving.

The 29-year-old, who took a break after winning gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the men's synchronised 10m platform event, is delighted with the current success of British diving.
