Britain's Georgia Taylor-Brown bounced back to win her first World Triathlon Championship Series race of the year.

Great Britain's Georgia Taylor-Brown displayed a stunning performance on the track and comfortably claimed her first World Triathlon Championship Series race of the year in Cagliari.

The double Olympic medallist looked comfortable on the track as she maintained the lead throughout the race and accomplished the finishing line ahead of France’s Emma Lombardi.

Behind, Emma Lombardi of France, who held on valiantly through the first three laps of the run to Taylor-Brown, finished in second, to take her second consecutive silver in Sardinia. In third, American Taylor Spivey held off a fast-finishing Cassandre Beaugrand to round out the podium.
