Brighton has signed Sassuolo boss Roberto de Zerbi as their new manager.

Brighton F.C officially announced the signing of former Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk manager, Roberto de Zerbi as their club's new head coach.

The Italian, Roberto de Zerbi replaced Graham Potter and has signed a four-year deal with Brighton. Brighton's chairman Tony Bloom is excited by his arrival.

Roberto De Zerbi started his coaching career in the lower leagues in Italy before enjoying spells in charge of Palermo and Benevento. 

De Zerbi helped the Italian side, twice finishing eighth in Serie A and narrowly missing out on qualification to the Europa Conference League on goal difference to Roma.  

He also guided Shakhtar to the top of the Ukrainian Premier League with a brand of possession-based attacking football.
