Joao Pedro scored a dramatic header in the 95th minute, securing Brighton's perfect start to the season with a win over Manchester United.
Manchester United thought they had secured victory when Alejandro Garnacho scored from Bruno Fernandes' cross, but the goal was disallowed after VAR ruled offside due to a touch by Joshua Zirkzee.
Joao Pedro then clinched the win for Brighton, converting Simon Adingra's cross in the 95th minute, marking a perfect start for new manager Fabian Hurzeler. Earlier, former United striker Danny Welbeck had given Brighton the lead with a first-half goal and almost added another, hitting the crossbar in the second half.
United's hopes faded after Garnacho's disallowed goal, with long-range attempts from Scott McTominay and Casemiro failing to find the net.
