Bradley Takes the Lead Amidst BMW Championship Storm Delays.

Keegan Bradley led by one shot after scoring a six-under 66 in a thunderstorm-interrupted first round at the BMW Championship.

Bradley finished his round before a thunderstorm halted play for three hours at Castle Pines, near Denver.

Hideki Matsuyama of Japan was just one shot behind Bradley on the final hole when play stopped. However, when play resumed, he missed a birdie putt and couldn't tie for the lead.

Bradley, recently named captain of the U.S. team for the 2025 Ryder Cup, barely secured the last spot in the 50-player field in Colorado.

"I want to be out there with the guys and the Ryder Cup team," Bradley said after his first round. "I want to be playing with them, on the range with them, in the locker room, in the tournament."
