Bo Svensson is shortlisted as the new manager of Brighton football club.

Brighton & Hove Albion's has shortlisted Mainz 05's head coach Bo Svensson as their new manager replacing Graham Potter.

Brighton owner Tony Bloom and chief executive Paul Barber are in talks of appointing Bo Svensson as their potential new manager after Potter left last week to take charge at Chelsea.

Bo Svensson left Liefering and joined Mainz in January 2021. He helped Mainz to advance in the German league table last season, with an impressive eighth-placed finish.

Under the charge of Svensson, Mainz have started brilliantly with ten points from their first six Bundesliga games this season. They sit sixth in the table.
