Biles Stumbles on Beam, Misses Medal at Paris Olympics.

Simone Biles fell off the beam and missed out on a medal at the Paris Olympics, with Alice d'Amato winning gold in the event. This marks Biles' first time missing a medal at these Games.

Simone Biles, 27, who previously won gold in team, all-around, and vault, lost her balance on the beam and finished fifth in the event final at the Paris Olympics.

The final was challenging, with half the gymnasts falling off the 10cm-wide beam.

Italy's Alice d'Amato claimed gold with a score of 14.366, while China's Zhou Yaqin won silver with 14.100, and Italy's Manila Esposito took bronze with 14.000.

Biles, who has already secured three golds in Paris, will have another opportunity for a medal in the floor final on Monday. After her beam routine, she appeared upset and was seen discussing with her coach and teammate Sunisa Lee. Shouts of "come on Simone" from the crowd led to mixed reactions, and former gymnast Craig Heap noted, "I've never seen Simone Biles look so angry in my life."
