Craig Bellamy expressed his pride after securing his first Wales win in Montenegro, describing the conditions as the "toughest" he had ever faced.
Early goals from Kieffer Moore and Harry Wilson led Wales to a 2-1 Nations League victory in Niksic. The torrential rain made the pitch nearly unplayable, challenging players to stay on their feet, let alone perform.
Despite the tough conditions, Wales persevered, giving Craig Bellamy his first win as manager, following a promising 0-0 draw with Turkey in his debut match.
“I’m extremely proud. I love this group,” Bellamy said. “These are the toughest conditions I've ever experienced. Everything about this trip was challenging—from the venue change and travel to the weather. But sometimes, you learn from these experiences.”
