Cricket Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024
Posted 10 months agoAccording to recent reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expressing dissatisfaction with specific players who are hesitant to participate in the Ranji Trophy matches.
While players like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane are striving for a return to the Indian team, with Pujara even notching up a few centuries along the way, there are others who are opting out of First-Class cricket despite being sidelined.
The board is understandably displeased with players skipping the Ranji Trophy and is reportedly planning to convey this to them.
According to a report in the Times of India, the BCCI intends to urge players to represent their state teams in the Ranji Trophy if they are physically fit. Those who are unfit are advised to undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
