Barcelona has signed Keira Walsh with a world record fee from Manchester City.

Barcelona is delighted to announce the signing of England star Keira Walsh from Manchester City with a world-record fee of about £400,000.

Keira Walsh agreed with the terms and has signed a three-year contract with Barca.

This summer's transfer fee broke the previous record which was set by Chelsea. The Chelsea club paid about £250,000 for Pernille Harder in 2020.

The 25-year-old, Keira Walsh has spent her entire senior career with City, winning one Women's Super League title, three FA Cups and four EFL Cups.

Walsh made her City debut in July 2014. She has made 189 appearances for the club, and has scored eight goals. She also has 50 caps for her country, England.

Keira played a key role for England in its Euro 2022 campaign this summer and was named player of the match in the final where England beat Germany.
