After his impressive debut in Bangladesh's historic 2-0 win over Pakistan, rising pace sensation Nahid Rana is now focused on the upcoming Test series against India.
At just 21, Nahid Rana impressed with consistent speeds of 150 kph and shone as the standout performer in the second innings of the final Test in Rawalpindi. He took 4/44, helping Bangladesh achieve a historic series sweep.
“We’re well-prepared for the India series and have started our training. The better we prepare, the better we’ll execute in the matches,” Rana said in a video shared by Bangladesh Cricket on X (formerly Twitter).
“India is a strong team, but the side that plays better cricket will win. We’ll find out when we get there.”
Hailing from Chapainawabganj, Rana has quickly become a sensation in Bangladesh cricket with his consistent pace. He first made waves by surpassing 150 kph on his Test debut against Sri Lanka in March.
In Pakistan, he confirmed his threat by taking Shan Masood’s wicket with his third ball and Babar Azam’s in his next over.
