Australia secured the series win against England with a 69-56 victory in the final Test in Bendigo, Victoria.
Jess Thirlby’s England entered the game with high spirits after their narrow 61-59 victory in Sydney. However, world champions Australia dominated throughout, outscoring the Roses in every quarter for a decisive win.
“It’s disappointing we couldn’t build on our strong performance in Sydney,” said England captain Fran Williams. "We let them outmuscle us, but I’m proud of the effort. Winning last week was a huge moment for us, especially in front of an Australian crowd."
Australia’s Kiera Austin was named player of the match, scoring 24 goals and providing 15 goal assists.
