Australia qualifies for FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Finally Australia made their way to FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after defeating Peru on penalty shots.

Australia will be playing at the Qatar 2022 FIFA football World Cup, after beating Peru in their intercontinental playoff.

After 90 minutes of regular time and an addition of 30 mins extra time, the score remained 0-0, which results the match in penalty shootout decision.

After two-rounds of penalty shootout the score remains tie. The match forwarded for the third, fourth and fifth round of penalty shots. The match was going on tie situation for both the team.  

Finally at the sixth round, Mabil of Peru shot first, putting the pressure on Alex Valera, who had to score to keep Peru's hopes alive. But Australian keeper  Andrew Redmayne got the save and secured his team's ticket to Qatar.

Costa Rica and New Zealand will go head-to-head on Tuesday at the same venue in Qatar with the last qualifying spot to achieve.
