The Wallaroos enjoyed sweet revenge after their recent loss to Wales at Rodney Parade last week.
In their match in Cape Town, the first half set the stage for a tight game, with Wales trailing 10-5 at halftime. Carys Phillips scored for Wales, while Australian tries came from Layne Morgan and Eva Karpani.
However, the Wallaroos dominated the second half, scoring 27 unanswered points and adding four more tries as Wales struggled to keep up.
The match also drew a disappointing crowd of just 291 at DHL Stadium. Wales faced challenges leading up to the game, missing star prop Sisilia Tuipulotu due to visa issues. They also had to make last-minute changes to their lineup, with flanker Alex Callender stepping in for the injured Kate Williams and centre Hannah Jones being ruled out entirely.
