Australia clinched the series by claiming the third ODI against India.

Champions Australia has comfortably clinched the series after claiming a sensational 21 runs victory over India at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Australia, who won the toss and opted to bat and comfortably posted 269 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. 

For India, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav claimed three wickets each which dampened Aussies' batting line-up.

In reply, India got off to a great start with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 65 runs for the opening wicket. Later Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya took control of the game. 

Later on, Australia's Adam Zampa took four wickets and demolished India's scoring momentum. India fell short by 21 runs and as a result they suffered defeat in the final ODI as well as the series by 2-1.
