ATP has imposed a fine of £820,000 to LTA for ban on Russian players.

The ATP has officially handed a massive fine of £820,000 to the Lawn Tennis Association over their decision to ban Russian and Belarusian players from competing in its event this year due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Along with the massive fine, the LTA has been threatened with discharge from the Tour if it repeats the ban imposed this year.

Earlier following the decision of AELTC, the LTA banned Russian and Belarusian players from competing in its ATP and WTA events held this summer.

After being handed a $1 million fine by the WTA, the LTA has now been handed another $1 million fine.
