Arteta to Begin Contract Negotiations After Transfer Window Closes.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to start discussions about a new contract with the club after the transfer window closes.

Mikel Arteta's current contract with Arsenal ends at the season’s close, but he’s not worried about negotiations.

At 42, Arteta enjoys a strong rapport with the club’s leadership.

"The focus has been on the transfer window," Arteta explained. "We had a lot to address and discuss. We’re handling that and will tackle the contract talks at the right time."
