Anthony Martial, the Manchester United forward, will be sidelined for 10 weeks due to groin surgery.

Manchester United's Anthony Martial is out for about 10 weeks after successful groin surgery, the club has confirmed.

The 28-year-old hasn't played for United since December 9th. His injury means he'll be out until April, and his contract with United ends in the summer.

United wishes Anthony a speedy recovery and looks forward to his return, according to a statement.

Martial missed games over Christmas due to illness, and then a groin injury was found.

He hasn't played in the last seven games for United. This season, he scored only once in the Premier League in 13 games. Last season, he played in 28 out of 62 matches.

Martial, who joined United from Monaco in 2015 for £36m, was loaned to Sevilla for the 2021-22 season due to a drop in form.
