Anthony Joshua has officially confirmed to fight Robert Helenius at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night after the Finnish boxer was confirmed as Dillian Whyte’s replacement.
Joshua was set to face fellow British heavyweight Whyte but the bout had to be cancelled last weekend after “adverse analytical findings” were detected in a doping test conducted by Whyte, who has vowed to clear his name.
Finnish fighter Helenius, 39, lost in a first-round knockout to Deontay Wilder last year in his biggest fight to date. He boasts a 36-4 record.
Joshua, 33, last fought in April as he defeated Jermaine Franklin at the O2 to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
