Andy Murray smashed out England's tennis ace Jack Draper in a thrilling final set tie-break in the first day of Battle of the Brits. With the victory at the end of day 1, Scotland and England all-square at 1-1.
Murray edged out Jack Draper by 6-2 1-6 12-10 to pull Scotland level at 1-1 with England at the Battle of the Brits in Aberdeen.
Earlier, England made a quick lead over Scotland through the sensational victory of Dan Evans over Aiden McHugh by 6-4 6-2.
The three-time grand slam champion, Andy Murray will now face Dan Evans on Thursday before teaming up with brother Jamie.
