Amanda Serrano's defence of her titles against Danila Ramos has been scheduled for 12 three-minute rounds.

Women’s boxing is on the brink of a historic moment as Amanda Serrano, the reigning champion holding WBO, WBA, and IBF world featherweight titles, is set to defend her titles against Danila Ramos.

The upcoming bout will be truly highly thrilling as it will be contested over 12 three-minute rounds, marking a significant shift in the world of women’s boxing.

For the first time since 2007, two women fighters will step into the ring for a title fight, enduring the same round duration as their male counterparts.

Traditionally, women’s bouts have been limited to 10 two-minute rounds, but this historic move signifies a major stride toward gender equality and recognition in the sport.

As the defending champion, Serrano is fully aware of the importance of this moment. She looks forward to stepping into the ring on October 27th at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.
