Alpine Team progressing to launch female F1 driver in coming years.

The Alpine Team has officially announced the launch of its 'Rac(H)er' programme, which aims to increase female participation in the company throughout all sectors.

Through this programme they are planning to include well trained female F1 drivers.

The programme will start with investment in local STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programmes,  encouraging women to pursue careers in those fields.

Further The team says that they will conduct scientific studies to identify ideal training methods for young female drivers in an effort to bring them to F1.
