Britons Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid celebrated a remarkable fifth consecutive victory in the Australian Open men's wheelchair doubles, showcasing their prowess on the court. 

Meanwhile, Britain's Andy Lapthorne secured success in the quad doubles category, adding another highlight to the British achievements in the tournament.

Hewett and Reid secured their fifth consecutive Australian Open men's wheelchair doubles title by defeating the Japanese pair of Takuya Miki and Tokito Oda by 6-3, 6-2 in a Friday final delayed by rain. 

Hewett expressed the joy of playing before an enthusiastic crowd, emphasizing the electrifying moments that showcased the best of wheelchair tennis.

In the quad doubles, Lapthorne and his American partner David Wagner clinched a thrilling victory in the final, overcoming Donald Ramphadi and Guy Sasson with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-2 scoreline.
