Cristiano Ronaldo delivered a spectacular performance, scoring the decisive goal as Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia triumphed over Qatar's Al-Rayyan with a 2-1 victory in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage on Monday.

Ronaldo’s goal not only sealed the win but also showcased his enduring skill and determination on the field, adding another thrilling chapter to his storied career.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner missed Al-Nassr's opening match, a 1-1 draw against Iraq's Al-Shorta, two weeks ago due to a viral infection.

On Monday, although he had a goal disallowed for offside, Ronaldo made his mark by scoring a stunning shot into the top corner with 14 minutes left, which proved to be the winning goal.

Former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Al-Nassr just before halftime, and the team appeared to be in control when Ronaldo added a second.

However, Al-Rayyan fought back late in the game, with Roger Guedes finding the net three minutes before the final whistle.

Despite the late pressure, Al-Nassr held on to secure the win as they chase their first Asian title.
