Agar Set to Rejoin Northants for Blast Quarter-Final.

Northamptonshire has secured a deal for Ashton Agar to return and play in their T20 Blast quarter-final against Somerset next month. The Australian off-spinner will rejoin the team for the crucial match.

Ashton Agar joined Northants on a short-term deal in July and played five group games, taking four wickets at an economy rate of 8.16 runs per over. With the bat, he scored 64 runs from 37 balls, boasting a strike rate of nearly 173.

Northants head coach John Sadler confirmed Agar is set to return for the T20 Blast quarter-final and is excited to rejoin the team.

Agar is currently in Canada playing for the Montreal Tigers in the T20 league but will be back in the UK for the quarter-final on September 5.
