Against All Odds: Team GB Clinches Bronze in Dressage Amidst Turbulent Preparations.

Overcoming a challenging lead-up, Great Britain's dressage riders secured a team bronze at the Paris Olympics.

Despite a turbulent build-up, Great Britain's dressage team triumphed with a team bronze at the Paris Olympics.

Seven-time Olympian Carl Hester, alongside Lottie Fry and Becky Moody, scored a combined 232.492% to secure their place on the podium, behind gold medallists Germany and Denmark in silver, at the picturesque Chateau de Versailles.

This success came just two weeks after Charlotte Dujardin, the star of British dressage, withdrew on the eve of the Games and faced a provisional suspension for "excessively" whipping a horse.

Reflecting on their achievement, Hester told BBC Sport, 'Any medal will be great, let's face it, after the couple of weeks we've had. It will be great for the whole team.'

This marks the fourth consecutive Olympic medal for Great Britain in this event and their fourth equestrian medal at Paris 2024, following golds in team eventing and jumping, and Laura Collett's individual eventing bronze.
