Aberdeen Manager Seals Victory, Spoiling Geoff Brown's St Johnstone Farewell at McDiarmid Park.

Jimmy Thelin marked his debut league match as Aberdeen manager with a win, as the Dons disrupted Geoff Brown’s farewell party at McDiarmid Park.

Jimmy Thelin made history as the first Aberdeen manager to win his first five games, with Nicky Devlin and Jamie McGrath scoring to secure a 2-1 victory over St Johnstone.

The result wasn't without drama, as a late own goal from Gavin Molloy made for a tense finish, but Aberdeen’s dominance throughout the match ensured they earned all three points.

Thelin’s side relentlessly pressed the shaky home defense, creating wave after wave of attacks.

Before the game, Geoff Brown was honored in front of a full stadium, marking his farewell as he prepares to sell St Johnstone to American businessman Adam Webb.
