A win against Otto Wallin on Saturday will rebuild Anthony Joshua confidence.

British former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is all set to take on Otto Wallin on Saturday at the 'Day of Reckoning' event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua has two consecutive wins as he rebuilds after losses to Oleksandr Usyk, and Wallin told TNT Sports that distractions provided by Deontay Wilder and Jarrell Miller could give him a "perfect" chance.

Otto Wallin thinks there is a “perfect” opportunity for him to beat Anthony Joshua this weekend.

Two-time world champion Joshua, who lost his WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO belts to Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk in 2021, is fighting on the same bill as ex-WBC title holder Deontay Wilder.

Anthony Joshua is aiming to win his third fight of 2023 after already gaining victories over Jermaine Franklin Jr and Robert Helenius earlier in the year as he looks to step back to the top of the heavyweight division.

Joshua said there would be “no future” for him in the sport if he fails to beat Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia.

“My heart, my soul, every cell in my body is fully focused towards Otto Wallin and doing what I know I can do,” the 34-year-old Briton said.

“I know where I’m going in my life. But I’ve also got to say, this is the checkpoint and if I don’t get past this, there is no future. So I’m fully locked into Otto Wallin and doing the job.”

Joshua has looked focused in the build-up to the fight and explained he only has one thing on his mind.

He added: “I’m looking to do a good job and what more can I say, I will do a good job.

“I’m here to fight, I’m not here to party, I want to perform well and put that pressure on myself because I want to win, I have that urge to win and want to hurt my opponent as well.”
