The 50 over ICC Cricket World Cup has been held 13 times since its inception in 1975.

Australia has won the cup an astonishing 6 times. Being the premier event of the 50 over format, every edition has thrown some interesting facts and figures. Some world cups have been dominated by bowlers while others have been batsmen dominated.
