In which Minute has most goals been scored in International Football?

Today you bring an analysis that has never been done before and probably will never be done again in international football.

Goals are the cornerstone of an entertaining football match and as such people wait with bated breath to see some wonderful goals happening in a match. In a completed football match of 90 minutes (or sometimes more) goals have been scored at various junctures and today we analyse over 44000 international football goals scored over the last 150 odd years acrss thousands of international matches and over 13 events including some of the premier international events like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro, Copa America, AFC Asian Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations to name a few.

Our detailed and dedicated analysis has come up with some stunning revelations which we present for your pleasure. Over the years, and across 44080 goals scored in international matches as on 1st February, 2023, a stunning 1366 goals have been scored in the 90th minute of the game and 767 goals have been scored in the 45th minute.

This interesting piece of information throws light on the fact that in the last minute of a normally completed game and in the last minute before the half time break, most goals are scored. This is probably due to the high adrenaline rush players experience at such crucial match times.
