Two-time champions, West Indies suffered shocking 42-runs defeat against Scotland in Group B match of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 at the Bellerive Oval.
Scotland shocked West Indies, just after 24 hours, Namibia kick-started the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 with a stunning 55-run win over Sri Lanka.
Batting first, Scotland posted a score of 160 runs by losing five wickets in the stipulated overs. Opener George Munsey contributed unbeaten 66 runs which helped Scotland to put up this competitive score before West Indies.
In reply, West Indies batters struggled to click with their bats as they lose wickets in regular intervals. Scot's left-arm spinner Mark Watt led a fantastic bowling show with his brilliant 3/12 to bowl out West Indies for 118 all out in 18.3 overs.
