According to the reports its being confirmed that Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana's knee injury is not so serious as appeared after the injury.

Medical representatives and daily Telegraph journalist Matt Law have also confirmed the news that the French Centre-back will be fit again before the 2022 World Cup in November.

Wesley Fofana has sustained the injury during the Blues' 3-0 win against AC Milan on Wednesday night.

The French defender completed a £75million transfer from Leicester City to Stamford Bridge in the summer and scored the opening goal against the Serie A side as Chelsea picked up their first win in the Champions League this season.
